Annual Leave

As an employee of Pret, you will be entitled to up to 28 days of annual leave per year.

Apprenticeships Details

hospitality Level 2 Apprenticeships

As a new apprentice, you can complete a Food & Beverage Team Member apprenticeship.

During this apprenticeship, you will learn more about assembling and serving food, making beverages, developing excellent customer service skills, the importance of health and safety and much more.

Development and Progression

We believe in setting our team members up for success. That means offering opportunities to grow in skills and confidence and pursue meaningful paths.

Our existing teams can develop with Pret to:

Evolve as a Leader and complete a Hospitality Supervisor Level 3 apprenticeship.
Excel as a Manager: and complete a Hospitality Management Level 4 apprenticeship.
Advance your career with the Operational Management Level 5 or the BA Business Management Degree Level 6 apprenticeship.

Lifetime Training

Our dedicated apprenticeship provider is Lifetime Training, one of the UK’s largest providers. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will receive one-on-one sessions, self-learning activities, off-the-job training, group learning sessions and virtual and in-person support.

Your initial application is made to Lifetime Training, who support Pret to deliver the apprenticeship. You will need to complete an online form on the Lifetime Training website. When we are recruiting, the application form will be available here.

Once Lifetime Training has received your application, they will screen your answers against our core values.

If your online application is successful, Lifetime Training will arrange a telephone interview with you. They will also talk you through the role expectations and whether this is the right role for you.

If you’re successful, at this stage, they will ask you to share some dates and times you would be available for an interview with the shop manager.

Lifetime Training will confirm with you a time and date for you to attend an interview at the shop with the Manager.

This is usually 2.5 hours and includes spending time on the shop floor so that you can make an informed decision on whether this is the right role for you.

If you are successful, Lifetime Training will call you within 48 hours to confirm start date.

If you are unsuccessful, Lifetime Training will provide you with the Manager’s feedback.
