They are part of higher education (alongside degrees at level 6) and can be found in universities, Further Education colleges and other training providers.

HTQs can be a great idea for young people who want to carry on learning and gaining new skills, without committing to a full bachelor's degree. They could be considered by those who are seeking a higher or degree apprenticeship and can be a great way to also support individuals who are in employment, but not undertaking an apprenticeship.
