Apprenticeship Club – Royal Hospital School

July 17, 2025

Apprenticeship Club is open to all sixth form students and provides structured, targeted support for those exploring higher and degree apprenticeship routes. Meeting weekly, the club demystifies the application process and ensures pupils are confident and well-prepared to secure technical roles after school.

Sessions cover key topics including how to find and evaluate apprenticeship opportunities, writing compelling applications and CVs, and preparing for assessment centres and interviews. Pupils also explore digital reputation, psychometric tests and employer expectations, helping them develop a competitive edge. The club uses live apprenticeship vacancies to give pupils real-time insights into sector demand and entry requirements.

Pupils create tailored action plans to guide their progression and are encouraged to apply early and strategically. Resources are shared and updated regularly through a dedicated Teams Channel.
