Apprenticeship Preparation Day – Wellington School

At Wellington School, we introduced an Apprenticeship Preparation Day several years ago to help prepare students for apprenticeship applications. We have teamed up with Taunton School and Blundell’s School and we take it in turns to host. The day involves a number of sessions including:

• A presentation from an apprenticeship provider (e.g. University of Exeter)
• Q&A session with current apprentices (alumni)
• ‘What an Employer Wants’ session from a local apprenticeship employer (e.g. Savills)
• CV Writing
• Mock Interviews
• A group task
