Hands on Medical Professions – London Design & Engineering UTC

May 21, 2025

All of our learners are exposed to multiple embedded career learning activities across ALL subject areas through our Employer Engagement programme to which all staff are committed. Through the programme, employers provide masterclasses and longer-term project briefs to support the learning outcomes of the subject area. This programme supports all learners from day 1 in year 9 and ensures that they build confidence and knowledge when encountering employers in the University Technical College (UTC) and are able to understand how what they are learning relates to industry and future career options. This example was for science, linking to different units for year groups 9, 10 and 12 but delivering hands-on experiences for the learners.
