Making Use of Apprentice Alumni – Sandringham School

Our apprentice alumni are proving to be an invaluable resource for current students. By coming into school to give a careers talk, or through leading a smaller virtual guidance session on their specific industry area, they have been able to share practical advice on what to expect, how to succeed, and the benefits of choosing an apprenticeship over other routes. Students have been able to relate to the guidance from young people who were in their position just one or two years earlier and by sharing their first-hand experience, answering questions, and in some cases creating networking opportunities, our apprentice alumni can inspire and encourage current students to make well-informed decisions and pursue opportunities that align with their goals and aspirations.
