Our Sixth Form Apprenticeship Support Programme Framework and Toolkit are designed to provide students with a strong foundation as they transition from school to the world of work or further education. One of the main benefits is the guidance students receive when exploring apprenticeship opportunities, ensuring they understand their options that align with their skills and career interests. The framework also provides a timeline for; dedicated career coaching; helping students gain work experience; building strong CVs; preparing for interviews and understanding the professional expectations they will face in the workplace. Moreover, the programme provides access to a network of industry professionals and former apprentices who share valuable insights, allowing students to ask questions and gain a real-world perspective on what an apprenticeship entails. Through workshops and talks students gain essential skills in both the technical and soft skills required to excel in apprenticeships. Regular meetings ensure that students stay on track, receive ongoing support, and feel confident in their pathway decisions.
