Starting Salary

Our Apprentices receive a yearly salary of £25,500 – £28,000 (dependent on programme and location).

Apprenticeships Details

Audit Apprenticeship

In Audit, you’ll examine financial records to make sure they’re accurate – while building real insight into how organisations run. You’ll work with some of the UK’s biggest businesses that span a variety of sectors, building great relationships along the way.

In Tax, you’ll work collaboratively with organisations and high-net worth individuals helping them to stay compliant with fast-changing tax regulations. Using your expertise and advancing technology to spot risks and help them pay the right tax at the right time.

In Business Services, you’ll support KPMG’s specialist internal teams by sharing ideas, and collaborating on a variety of projects. You’ll develop a broad understanding of KPMG and keep things running smoothly across the business.

Learn more about KPMG and explore the role you’re applying for. Then tell us about your academic background and any work experience you may have undertaken.

You can find the general entry criteria for each of our programmes on the relevant programme pages. These have been carefully considered based on ongoing evaluation of how prior achievements and our selection process predict future performance at KPMG. If you are a few grades or points short, we would still encourage you to apply, as your application will be reviewed together with your performance in our assessments.

Complete two online assessments measuring your ability to apply the skills and reasoning required to be successful in your role. The skills assessment is designed to evaluate the core skills that are critical for success in a role at KPMG. You will be presented with various scenarios and asked to rank how you would think, feel or respond in each situation, thinking about yourself at work and picking the answer that is most like you.

Next is the cognitive assessment, reviewing your numerical and logical reasoning. Here you will be presented with a range of scenarios and be asked to interpret information, complete numerical calculations and draw logical conclusions.

This stage gives you the opportunity to showcase your skills and strengths, so we can understand if they’re aligned with those required for success at KPMG, as well as your motivation to join your chosen programme.

Record your answers to six pre-recorded interview questions. Draw on your skills, experience and career motivations to demonstrate your strengths.

Meet us in person for a day of immersive activities and assessments. Learn more about life at KPMG from colleagues and showcase your skills in your final interview.

If successful, you will receive a phone call from a member of our student recruitment team within 2 working days with your job offer! You will then receive the offer via email.

If you are unsuccessful, you will be offered the option to request feedback.
