Small Business Summer Webinar

Watch our launch webinar for Small Business Summer that will run throughout the summer term of 2026 (April to July). It is designed to work flexibly within your setting, and can be used to support students throughout all key stages.

Small Business Summer is an exciting, brand-new careers campaign brought to you by Amazing Apprenticeships and supported by the Edge Foundation. It is designed to support young people in years 7 to 13 to increase their awareness of small businesses in their local community, and to understand the unique benefits of being an apprentice in a smaller organisation.

The programme of activities has the simultaneous benefit of supporting schools in achieving the refined Gatsby Benchmarks, with particular focus on Benchmark 2 (Learning from career and labour market information).

Through our exciting range of Small Business Summer resources, you can support your students to:

• Explore the exciting range of local businesses.
• Develop knowledge of the career opportunities that exist.
• Understand the different ways smaller businesses recruit.
