The Sutton Trust Sector Focused Webinars and In-Person Discovery Days for Students

This autumn, Amazing Apprenticeships are supporting The Sutton Trust with a series of events to help students to get ready to apply for apprenticeships.

The exciting programme of events and activities have been designed specifically for students on the Sutton Trust Access Apprenticeships programme, giving them valuable, practical insights into what to expect from apprenticeship application processes.

Through a series of sector-focused webinars and in-person Discovery Days, young people have been supported to build their confidence and better understand employer expectations in a safe and supportive environment. They have heard directly from employers about what to expect from the different approaches they may encounter, top tips for how to prepare for interviews and assessment centres, and expert advice in how to stand out and make a good impression. Former and current apprentices have also been sharing their insights in how to balance the demands of multiple applications, and have shared their inspirational apprenticeship journeys.

The Sutton Trust Access Apprenticeships programme supports a number of students each year, and currently focusses on three key career pathways: Law, Finance and Banking, and Engineering.
